We are hiring "Senior test engineers- Network testing" for a global service provider based out of: London Speechmark / Newbury / Birmingham Small Heath / Manchester / Glasgow - Fixed time contract for 6-1year.

Telecom/network infrastructure testing experience mandatory

Senior Test Engineer – Network Testing

Clearance: SC Cleared / Non-SC

Experience: 5+ Years

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Design, execute, and manage end-to-end testing for telecom/network infrastructure projects.
\n
• Develop and review test cases, scripts, and execution evidence.
\n
• Perform SIT, Functional, Non-Functional, DR, and OAT testing.
\n
• Manage defect lifecycle, root cause analysis, and retesting.
\n
• Work across routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, LAN/Wi-Fi, Data Centre, Cloud, Security, UC, and Mobility.
\n
• Mentor junior testers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
\n
• Maintain ALM, requirements traceability, and test reporting.
\n

Required Skills

\n
• 5+ years in telecom/network testing.
\n
• Strong experience with ALM, defect management, and test design.
\n
• Knowledge of Cisco networking, RFC 2544, and infrastructure testing.
\n
• ISTQB preferred; CCNA/CCNP or equivalent desirable.
\n

Test Engineer – Network Testing

Clearance: SC Cleared / Non-SC

Experience: 5+ Years

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases from HLD/LLD and Test Plans.
\n
• Perform network infrastructure testing across routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, LAN/Wi-Fi, Cloud, and Data Centre environments.
\n
• Support SIT, Functional, Non-Functional, DR, and OAT testing.
\n
• Manage defects, maintain ALM, and ensure requirements traceability.
\n
• Prepare test environments, execute RFC 2544 testing, and produce test reports.
\n

Required Skills

\n
• 5+ years of telecom/network testing experience.
\n
• Cisco router/switch knowledge and HLD/LLD interpretation.
\n
• Experience with ALM, defect management, and Microsoft Office.
\n
• ISTQB/CCNA preferred.
