quality, is seeking a talented Production Manager to join their team on a maternity cover contract,

\n


\n

This is an exciting chance to immerse yourself in the full production lifecycle ensuring on time delivery and ensuring the brands standards are not compromised, working closely withing a collaborative team. We are looking for someone who truly understands the end-to-end fashion production critical path and can come in and hit the ground running.

This is a great role for a Junior Production manager who can take ownership, or for a Senior Production Co-ordinator ready to take the leap to a manager role.

This role will be responsible for:

\n
    \n
  • Manage and drive the critical path and production schedules working across the multi product categories, partnering with the PD team from sourcing through to the shipment of the bulk goods
  • \n
  • Production budget and cost management
  • \n
  • Drive the management of all bulk approvals, from production through to pre shipment samples, working closely with the PD teams to ensure all details are correct and brand standards are maintained.
  • \n
  • Lead the AQL and inspection reports prior to shipping, providing shipment approval, or corrective action to be taken before shipping
  • \n
  • Compliance and supplier onboarding management with new and existing suppliers, ensuring all certifications are transparent throughout the supply chain, meeting the brands goals on social and ethical compliance policies
  • \n
  • Manage seasonal supplier performance meetings and reports, assessing and advising points for improvements and lessons learned
  • \n

Our client is looking for someone who:

\n
    \n
  • Experience in a similar role within apparel, ideally withing womenswear
  • \n
  • Hands on knowledge and experience of managing the suppliers, critical path and working with fabrics and trims and an understanding of clothing finishing techniques.
  • \n
  • Be a self-starter and motivated as well as excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of communication with the factories and the in-house team, with the ability to build successful relationships both internally and externally.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational skills and a strong team member with a strong working ethic
  • \n
  • Strong all round IT skills including working on Excel and PLM systems
  • \n
