Senior Project Manager

Position: Senior Project Manager – Major Projects

Contract: 12 months rolling - Outside IR35

Location: Wormington, Gloucestershire

Work Pattern: Full-time – Site Based

We're recruiting for a Senior Project Manager for a major infrastructure contractor delivering a large-scale EPC project within the UK energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe delivery of the project, ensuring targets for safety, time, cost and quality are achieved
\n
• Manage programme, project risks, change and key interfaces
\n
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong client, stakeholder and supply chain relationships
\n
• Oversee subcontractor and supply chain performance
\n
• Support commercial forecasting, cost control and project reporting
\n
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards and SHEQ requirements
\n
• Support testing, commissioning and project close-out
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 10+ years' experience as a Project Manager delivering large-scale EPC projects
\n
• Experience within UK gas, energy, infrastructure or heavy engineering environments
\n
• Strong commercial, contract, cost and programme management experience
\n
• Experience with NEC or similar forms of contract
\n
• Proven track record delivering projects from start to finish
\n
• Experience managing health and safety within a main contractor environment
\n
• SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent would be advantageous
\n
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to be site-based during the week
