Quantitative / AI Specialist

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Quantitative / AI Specialist to join our FX Options Trading team within Markets. This role is located in London.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Build analytics and tooling for the FX Options Trading deskDevelop trading models to improve desk performance, pricing capabilities, and efficiencyHelp design and build an electronic pricer for FX options, including API integrationPartner with traders to automate processes and enhance day-to-day desk workflowsSupport traders in daily trading activity through analytics, tools, and workflow improvementsExplore and integrate AI solutions into desk processes and trading infrastructureTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Strong academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related quantitative disciplineDemonstrated interest or experience in AI / machine learning applicationsStrong programming and development skills, ideally in Python and/or C++Interest in trading, markets, and market makingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work closely with traders in a fast-paced front-office environmentKnowledge of FX derivatives is a plusExperience building pricing tools, trading applications, or API-based solutions is a plusAt BNY, our culture allows us to run our company better and enables employees’ growth and success.
