The Senior Manager Supply Chain (SC) manages multiple related teams, sets their organizational priorities, and allocates the appropriate resources. They must be able to identify and resolve a range of complex technical, operational, and organizational problems. The Senior Manager Supply Chain (SC) directly impacts business results by supporting and function-specific projects, products, services, and/or technologies, and developing policies and plans. Essential Qualifications and Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a relevant discipline12+ years of experience working in a Supply Chain role 6+ years of experience in managing a teamSystems and process knowledge #LI-JA1#LI-HYRBIDKey Tasks and Responsibilities:Lead project’s effort and oversee project staffDevelop and understand sourcing and material management strategy for the projectUnderstand the major suppliers in the region and maintain relationshipsLead supply chain professionals on the project, including project leadersSupport global and business line initiativesProvide input into the project estimating and staffing processProvide input into resource managementSupport diversity effortsEnforce ethical behavior in the buying and contracting process for the projectHandle project set up and MOPEXUndertake annual performance review of assigned resources to the projectReview vendor (Master Supply or Services Agreements) MSA’s and/or framework agreements’ legal terms and conditions and negotiate same in accordance with company guidelinesAdvise supply chain contract negotiators of contractual and legal risks and opportunitiesProvide advice and support to procurement and contract teams on vendor contractual requirements during the life of the projects, including Insurance Certificates, Bank Guarantees, Parent Company Guarantees, etc.Support the Change Order and claim management and administration processSupport the Completion, acceptance, and other contract close-out formalities processAssist as requested by Procurement / Subcontracts in the negotiation of legal/contractual provisions within Purchase Orders, Service Agreements, and Subcontracts Maintain familiarity with trends and new case decisions possibly impacting the business Develop and manage SCM's policies and proceduresPerform audits on SCM functions to ensure compliance with policies and procedures Assist in Compliance matters, including investigations, where qualifications and experience are relevantAssist in the management and resolution of contentious matters Own and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and proceduresEnsure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and proceduresEnsure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teamsFull timePosting Date: 2026-06-24
