Fixed Wire Testing Engineer

Salary and Bonus: £42,000.00 per year plus Bonus paid at £3.25 per circuits after 250 circuits tested per week.Job Summary: The Fixed Wire Testing Engineer uses their skills and experienced to ensures the safety and compliance of electrical systems and equipment. They perform testing procedures as detailed in BS7671 as well as taking the lead when working with other engineers and offer training and guidance to trainees and junior engineers.The Fixed Wire Testing Engineer RequirementsHave at least 2 years testing experience in Commercial and Industrial environmentsSpend the required 40 hours per week on siteSubmit reports (EICR, Observations, Site Audit Pro) to the required standard within 5 days of completion on siteComplete Thermal Image Reports and submit within 5 days of completion on siteComplete Emergency Light testing and submit reports within 5 days of completion on siteSend in completed job sheets within 24 hours of finishing on siteReports and Job sheets saved to the company server on a daily basisTimesheets updated and saved to the company server dailyBe available to works a reasonable amount of weekends throughout the yearBe available to work outside of core business hours as required by the CompanyBe available to stay away as required by the businessOrganise and liaise with site contacts to ensure works are completed as specifiedWorks to be completed within the required time and budgetAssist with the training and onboard of new engineers when joining the companyAssist with training and development of Trainee engineers and updating required training logsComplete all Health and Safety training by the required due datesAssist the office with van swaps and vehicle servicing appointmentsComplete any other tasks (Remedial Works etc) as required by the CompanyTPBN1_UKTJ
