PSV Technician - Days

The RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced PSV Technician / Coach Fitter / Bus Engineer to join an established engineering team based in Hayes.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled commercial vehicle technician to work on a modern fleet of high-specification coaches, carrying out a wide range of mechanical, electrical, diagnostic and preventative maintenance work.Working straight days 7am till 5pm, Monday - Friday - no weekends or rotating shiftsKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine servicing and maintenance of PSV and coach vehiclesDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faultsCarry out fault-finding and diagnostic workRepair and replace worn or defective componentsComplete preventative maintenance and vehicle inspectionsCarry out pre-MOT inspections and prepare vehicles for testingEnsure all vehicles are maintained to a high standard of safety and reliabilityComplete maintenance records and inspection paperwork accuratelyWork to manufacturer specifications and company maintenance proceduresSupport the wider engineering team to ensure maximum vehicle availabilityMaintain high standards of workmanship across all maintenance and repair activitiesAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience as a PSV Technician, Bus Engineer, Coach Fitter or HGV TechnicianStrong mechanical and electrical knowledgeExcellent diagnostic and fault-finding skillsA full UK driving licenceThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA strong focus on safety, quality and attention to detailGood communication and problem-solving skillsWhy Apply?This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician looking to develop their career within a professional and well-established PSV environment.Working straight days 7am till 5pm, Monday - Friday - no weekends or rotating shiftsYou will have the opportunity to work on modern, high-specification coaches, gaining exposure to a range of complex mechanical, electrical and diagnostic systems.The role would suit someone from a PSV, HGV, bus, coach or heavy commercial vehicle background who is looking for a long-term position with a strong engineering focus.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
