Job Description
A respected and forward-thinking acoustic consultancy is seeking a motivated Acoustic Consultant to join their team in London. You will work on a variety of exciting projects across residential, commercial, education, and healthcare sectors, with comprehensive training and mentoring provided by experienced specialists.
Responsibilities\nAs an Acoustic Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in environmental noise and building acoustics assessments. \n
- Supporting acoustic modelling using tools such as CadnaA, ODEON, or SoundPLAN. \n
- Conducting site visits, surveys, and measurements. \n
- Preparing technical reports under the guidance of senior consultants. \n
- Collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality project outcomes. \n
The ideal candidate will possess:
\n- \n
- A degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline. \n
- A strong interest in building acoustics and environmental noise. \n
- Familiarity with acoustic standards such as BB93, BS8233, or Approved Document E (advantageous but not essential). \n
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. \n
- A proactive attitude and enthusiasm to learn and grow within the consultancy field. \n
- A full UK driving licence (preferred). \n
Your daily activities will involve:

- Conducting noise and vibration assessments for a variety of projects. \n
- Using industry-standard software to perform acoustic modelling and analysis. \n
- Attending site visits to carry out surveys and measurements. \n
- Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation. \n
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. \n
This role offers a competitive package, including:

- A salary of £32,000 - £37,000 (dependent on experience). \n
