NQ+ Litigation Solicitor (Military Claims)Location: CardiffThe OpportunityWe are recruiting for an NQ+ Litigation Solicitor to join a specialist military claims team in Cardiff, acting for current and former members of the Armed Forces in claims against the Ministry of Defence.The team handles a range of military claims, with a particular focus on military deafness and non-freezing cold injuries.This is an excellent opportunity for a claimant litigator to develop their career within a specialist and highly regarded team. This role will also require the successful candidate to assist with the supervision of a team of paralegals - so this role would be particularly suitable for solicitors looking for the opportunity to build on their management/supervision experience.The RoleYou will manage your own caseload, with responsibilities including:

- Taking initial enquiries and drafting witness evidence \n
- Managing disclosure and reviewing documentation \n
- Advising and updating clients throughout their claims \n
- Preparing court documents and schedules of loss \n
- Reviewing medical and expert evidence \n
- Assisting with the instruction of Counsel \n
- Advising on offers relating to breach of duty and quantum \n
About YouWe are looking for a solicitor with:

- A qualified solicitor in England and Wales (NQ+ PQE) \n
- Previous experience of claimant litigation \n
- Experience managing your own caseload \n
- Excellent organisational and attention-to-detail skills \n
- Strong client care and communication skills \n
Previous experience of noise-induced hearing loss or military claims would be advantageous but is not essential.What's on Offer
