The Opportunity:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a growing and well-established organisation. Working closely with the CFO, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, supporting business performance, and helping to develop a proactive and commercially focused finance function.This position offers significant exposure across the business and would suit an ambitious finance professional seeking a broad and varied role within a collaborative environment.Main Duties/Responsibilities:\n

- Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts. \n
- Take ownership of P&L and balance sheet reporting and reconciliations. \n
- Support the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting process. \n
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making. \n
- Analyse profitability, performance trends and commercial opportunities. \n
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to improve financial understanding and performance. \n
- Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes and controls. \n
- Support year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting activities. \n
- Coach and support members of the wider finance team. \n
- Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and business initiatives. \n

- Experience in a Senior Management Accountant, Management Accountant or similar finance role. \n
- Strong management accounting, month-end and financial reporting experience. \n
- Proven budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis capabilities. \n
- Experience managing both P&L and balance sheet reporting. \n
- Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems, with Sage 200 experience advantageous. \n
- Qualified, part-qualified or studying towards a recognised accounting qualification. \n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Experience mentoring, coaching or supporting colleagues within a finance team. \n
- A proactive and hands-on approach with the confidence to challenge constructively. \n
