This is an ideal opportunity for a safe pair of hands who knows their way around complex regulatory matters, is confident dealing with clients and wants to join a team where they can make an immediate contribution.The RoleYou will work closely with the Head of Department and wider team, advising a varied client base on a broad range of health & safety and regulatory matters. The successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running, taking ownership of matters from day one and providing high-quality, pragmatic advice to clients.Your work will include:\n

• Advising businesses and individuals on health & safety regulatory issues
\n
• Handling investigations and enforcement action by relevant regulatory bodies
\n
• Advising clients following serious workplace incidents and accidents
\n
• Managing prosecutions and contentious regulatory matters
\n
• Representing clients through the regulatory investigation and enforcement process
\n
• Providing strategic and practical advice on regulatory compliance
\n
• Supporting clients with risk management and preventative advice
\n
• Working closely with the Head of Department on complex and high-value matters
\n
• Developing strong and trusted relationships with clients
\n

About YouThe ideal candidate will be an experienced Health & Safety Regulatory Solicitor with a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and the confidence to manage matters independently.You will be:\n

• Technically strong with excellent attention to detail

• Comfortable handling complex and sensitive regulatory matters
\n
• A confident communicator with excellent client skills

• Able to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
