The role has a strong focus on energy and energy transition projects, offering exposure to market leading work and the opportunity to develop your own specialist practice.The RoleYou will take a senior role within the team, advising on complex construction matters across the energy sector, including:Drafting and negotiating EPC, BOP, supply and O&M contracts for renewables, energy storage, wind and grid stability projectsLeading negotiation meetings alongside junior colleaguesGuiding and managing client stakeholders throughout the negotiation processProviding procurement advice and legal project managementAdvising on FIDIC, NEC and bespoke construction agreementsWorking closely with energy regulation, planning, real estate, corporate and project finance teamsSupporting clients throughout delivery and operational phases, including contract management, variations and defects adviceActing as part of wider project teams on national scale energy and infrastructure projectsYou will work with a diverse client base including major developers, funders, energy companies and infrastructure operators.The TeamThe non contentious construction team operates nationally and continues to grow in line with the firm's strategic focus on energy and energy transition.
