Please consider this prior to applying, as we are unable to offer hybrid working for this specific role.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Global Markets team, where you will play a key role in enabling data-led decision-making across a fast-paced, front-office environment. This is a highly visible role, working closely with traders and quantitative research specialists to deliver scalable data solutions and actionable insights.You will be part of a collaborative global team, supporting a wide range of market-facing activities while helping to improve data infrastructure, performance, and innovation across the platform.What you’ll be doing:Partnering with traders and global markets teams to understand data needs and delivering practical solutionsBuilding and maintaining scalable data pipelines, datasets, and analytical toolsSupporting quantitative research initiatives, including developing and applying analytical modelsIdentifying gaps in data infrastructure and driving improvements for reliability and scalabilityActing as the first point of contact for data and analytics issues, diagnosing and resolving problemsCollaborating with global stakeholders to support workflows across multiple regionsEnhancing data quality, governance, and accessibility across platformsTranslating complex technical outputs into clear insights for non-technical audiencesWho we’re looking for:Strong Python experience including Pandas, NumPy or similar data analysis librariesAdvanced SQL skills with experience working across relational databasesExperience building data pipelines, working with cloud platforms, and integrating APIsSolid understanding of data engineering principles and scalable data architectureStrong communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with non-technical stakeholdersProven problem-solving ability and experience working in a fast-paced environmentExperience within financial services or a trading environment is beneficialExperience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau and exposure to advanced analytics or machine learning is advantageousWhatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
