Secondary School Teaching Assistant - Lincoln

Salary: £95 - £115 Per day

Reed Education is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Lincoln in their search for a Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in students’ learning and development within a supportive school environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both teachers and students across the school. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing in-class support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
\n
• Assisting the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
\n
• Supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
\n
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
\n
• Encouraging student participation and promoting confidence in learning
\n
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
\n

\n
• Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
\n
• A proactive, patient, and supportive approach
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
\n
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
\n
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are advantageous but not essential
\n
