Job Description

• Preparing accurate and competitive tenders as an Estimator for a wide range of construction projects across London, including Healthcare, Cut & Carve and Commercial schemes.

• Producing detailed estimates and budgets, reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work and tender documentation to develop accurate project costs.
\n
• Managing the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission, ensuring all Estimator deadlines and commercial requirements are met.
\n
• Developing strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and consultants to obtain competitive quotations and support successful tender submissions.
\n
• Using Conquest estimating software to prepare, manage and review estimates, maintaining accurate tender documentation and commercial information throughout the estimating process.

Skills / Qualifications

\n
• Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of building and refurbishment projects.
\n
• Strong estimating and commercial knowledge, including construction costs, materials, subcontractor pricing, procurement and tendering.
\n
• Experience working across Healthcare, Cut & Carve and Commercial projects would be highly advantageous for this Estimator position.
\n
• Experience using Conquest estimating software is preferred, with knowledge of other construction estimating systems also considered.
\n
• Strong analytical, commercial and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple estimates, prioritise deadlines and work effectively with project stakeholders.
\n
