Warehouse Manager
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced UK Warehousing, Logistics & Returns Manager to lead the end-to-end UK operation of our distribution centre, driving operational excellence, customer service, efficiency and continuous improvement.

\nSalary: c50k + bonus + bens
\nYou will oversee warehouse operations, UK transport and distribution, stock control and returns, ensuring high levels of service, inventory accuracy, productivity and cost efficiency. You will also lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve processes, and ensure robust health, safety, customs and compliance standards.
\nKey responsibilities include:

- Lead day-to-day warehouse, logistics and returns operations. \n
- Drive OTIF performance, productivity, capacity and freight efficiency. \n
- Maintain high standards of stock accuracy and inventory control, minimising excess and obsolete stock. \n
- Oversee the returns process, improving turnaround times, accuracy and cost. \n
- Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver measurable efficiencies. \n
- Lead, coach and develop the warehouse and returns teams, creating a positive, accountable and high-performing culture. \n
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, customs and cross-border shipping requirements. \n
- Work collaboratively with Procurement, Customer Service, Finance and Supply Chain to improve operational and customer outcomes. \n
- Provide performance reporting and insights to senior stakeholders. \n
We are looking for someone with proven experience in warehouse or distribution management, strong knowledge of stock control, returns and Lean principles, and excellent leadership and problem-solving skills. Experience with WMS/ERP systems and customs or cross-border logistics would be advantageous.
