Job Title: HSE & CDM AdvisorFunction: Facilities ManagementContract Type: Fixed Term (2 Years)Location: Predominantly Stevenage (with regular travel to Bristol and Bolton)Working Pattern: Dynamic working 34 days per week on-siteSalary: Circa £52,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus + benefitsSecurity Clearance: British Citizen BPSS requiredRole OverviewFacilities Management is seeking a proactive and dynamic safety professional to join a growing team supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of construction and facilities projects across the UK estate.Working alongside Project Managers and key stakeholders, you will provide specialist support and guidance to ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with CDM 2015 Regulations. This role is primarily based in Stevenage but requires regular travel to other UK sites.Key ResponsibilitiesLead on the proactive implementation of CDM 2015 Regulations across projects.Support the organisation in self-delivering the Principal Designer role for small works.Provide competent contractor compliance and CDM advice to the FM Team and wider business.Manage and support a large portfolio of UK-wide projects.Collate, analyse, and report contractor performance and statistical data.Assist with and/or lead accident and incident investigations.Conduct inspections across CDM sites.Travel across the UK estate to support project and FM teams.Support internal and external audit activities.Work closely with Maintenance Service Providers to ensure procedural and regulatory compliance.Deliver against established processes and contribute to continuous improvement.Develop and enhance procedures to improve safe working practices.Contribute to the growth and development of the safety function within Facilities Management.Person SpecificationEssential Qualifications & MembershipsNEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Diploma (Level 6 preferred).Membership of IOSH with active CPD.Knowledge & ExperienceStrong working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.Experience supporting construction or facilities projects.Understanding of the Principal Designer role.DesirableIMaPS or CMaPS accreditation (beneficial).Security RequirementsBritish Citizenship is required.Successful candidates must undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance following offer.About the OrganisationThe organisation is a leading defence employer supporting national security and the Armed Forces.
