Healthcare AssistantSalary: £26,140-£31,400 per annum (depending on experience)Hours: 35 per weekLocation: Derby CityContract: PermanentJob reference number: 1752An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of theCranstounDerby Cityservice. We are seekingaHealthcareAssistanttojoin our team.CranstounDerby Cityoperatesthe alcohol and drug service acrossDerby Cityandprovidesa range of servicesfor individuals using alcohol orsubstances.With our central hub inDerby City, we deliver interventions across all six districts, via our shared care scheme andcommunity outreach locations.You will workflexibly within the service toprovidea range of clinical interventions for people who use alcohol and other drugs. The role will include assessment of service users, blood borne virus screening, health screening,phlebotomy, ECG,ambulatory detoxificationdeliveryand support to team members in managing the health needs of people who use theCranstounDerby Cityservice.You will have experience of working with people who use substances and/or carers, or another vulnerable groups.You will also have experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team and knowledge of primary healthcare and treatment relating to people who use alcohol and other drugs.The serviceoperatescore hours of Monday Friday, 9am 5pm. The service also offersadditionalservice hours on some days between 8am 9am and 5 7pm.
