Shift Length: Typically around 8 hoursWe are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy waste management operation in Exeter .The role is working on the offensive waste collection side , carrying out refuse removal and waste collection services from commercial customers.?? The RoleDriving a Class 2 HGV as part of a commercial waste collection operationCollecting and removing offensive waste from customer sitesWorking on refuse removal and waste collection routesRegularly stopping at multiple customer locations throughout the dayCarrying out duties safely and efficiently in line with company proceduresCompleting daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and safeWorking to scheduled routes and collection requirementsDealing professionally with customers when requiredTypically around 8-hour working days?? The WorkThis is a hands-on commercial waste collection role , so drivers should be comfortable working in an environment involving refuse removal and regular manual handling.Previous experience in waste, refuse collection, HGV driving or similar collection/delivery work would be advantageous, although relevant Class 2 experience will be considered.? RequirementsValid Class 2 (Category C) licenceValid CPC and Digital TachographPrevious Class 2 driving experienceComfortable working in a hands-on waste/refuse environmentPhysically fit and comfortable with manual handlingReliable, punctual and professionalGood customer service skillsAble to follow routes, schedules and company proceduresGood knowledge of UK roads?
