\nWe provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.\n
\nThis role will be within ourTransmission Overhead Lineteam. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.\n
We're looking for someone to cover projects initially around South West England, but could include travel UK-wide according to project requirements. This is a site-based position and willingness to travel and stay away where required is essential!\n

\nAs aProject SHEQ Advisor,youre a key part of our Site Project Teams! Youll be responsible for day-to-day SHEQ advice on high profile Overhead Lines projects, working directly with site teams and customer representatives.\n

- Ensure SHEQ requirements are integrated throughout project lifecycle to mitigate Health & Safety risks. \n
- Provide operational SHEQ guidance and support across departments. \n
- Implement and monitor compliance with SHEQ policies, procedures, and statutory legislation. \n
- Conduct site inductions for staff and subcontractors. \n
- Attend cross-departmental and client liaison meetings. \n
- Support development and review of SHEQ Plans. \n
- Perform site inspections and monitor site setup for SHEQ compliance. \n
- Identify and promote continuous improvement and best practices in SHEQ. \n
- Report SHEQ progress to the Health, Safety & Quality Manager. \n
- Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards. \n
- Adhere to company policies and promote core values in Health & Safety. \n
- Maintain clear and professional communication across teams. \n
What youll bring\n
- \n
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation & best practice \n
- Knowledge of CDM legislation with minimum NEBOSH general / construction certificate \n
- IEMA / IOSH Foundation in Environmental Management desirable \n
- Knowledge of Overhead Line & Substation industry & previous experience in an Engineering environment desirable \n
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills and conversant with Microsoft Office packages \n
- Full UK driving licence willingness to travel across UK sites & stay away when required \n
