External Advertising End DateAdvertising End Date:Not SpecifiedInternal Advertising End DateInternal Advertising End Date:Not SpecifiedAll LocationsAll Locations:United Arab EmiratesAll Locations is a required fieldAll DepartmentsAll Departments:Project ManagementAll Departments is a required fieldAdvertising SalarySalary Details:Not SpecifiedCurrie & Brown are looking for a Project Director with hospitality experience in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.Roles at this level will direct and manage the delivery of large and complex projects, manage relationships with senior stakeholders and provide leadership role to project teams.Responsibilities:Accountable for delivery of large scale hospitality projectsResponsible for project definition and deliveryLead a large team, setting objectives, managing performance and ensuring that staff have the necessary skills to deliver the project objectivesResponsible for establishing project delivery plans and appropriate control and governance mechanisms to assure effective delivery of the projectManage multiple consultants and contractorsWork within established financial systems to independently produce plans and schedules and track and manage budgets, highlighting variances in order to manage and control project delivery targetsUse own knowledge and experience of industry best practice to implement and manage project processes and policies. Provide insightful recommendations that may support any improvement to processes and systemsPresent any business project risks or issues to senior managers (with proposed mitigation) to ensure the project is not adversely impacted, and ensure the delivery of projects to compliant standardsLiaise and collaborate with clients and key stakeholders, in order to ensure all parties are informed and aware of project progress and expectationsAnalyse and review complex information from a range of data sources, in order to identify how different options may impact project delivery and advise clients and internal stakeholders on potential implications and mitigationsAct as a technical expert within own projects, providing strategic advice to other senior managers, in order to support successful delivery in line with project objectives and strategiesAssure compliance with contracts in terms of project delivery parameters and scope of serviceDevelop and manage team leadersTranslate business objectives into operational financial targets, producing clearly defined business cases, plans and schedules for projects, and taking responsibility for meeting the profit and budgetary targets of the projectTalent development and succession planningDeliver aspects of Currie & Brown’s vision to their respected project(s)Skills, experience & qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalentProject management professional certification or accreditationPrevious experience leading large scale and complex projectsProven ability to manage, motivate and lead large teamsStrong pre-contract and post-contract experienceExcellent contract administration experienceLeading project management expertExperience of managing stakeholders at executive levelCurrie & Brown is one of the world’s leading physical assets management and construction consultancies, dedicated to advising clients in respect of the management and utilisation of their physical assets, and is differentiated by innovation, expertise and experience.With principal offices in Dubai, Hong Kong, London, Mumbai, New York and Shanghai, we operate in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, India and the Middle East.Currie & Brown prioritise for the long term and honour our commitments.
