About The RoleWe are seeking a Project Architect in the Global Services division with expert experience in Cloud Security, IoT Systems, Networking, Linux systems, Security Surveillance, and Access Control. You will partner with the Global Services Manager and Territory Account Executives to service large and strategic customers within the Verkada footprint. In this role, you will interface with customers and partners on post-sales deployment project management, assisting with technical issues and providing expert-level configuration and training on Verkada Products. We need someone who will be highly motivated, able to learn quickly, and work independently while making an impact on the success of our Global deployments. We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires that you be on-site 5 days per week in our London office.What You'll DoBe the subject matter authority on the full Verkada suite of products and offerings and provide expert-level service to customers during the post-sales processServe as the project management arm for customer accounts, ensuring successful deployments of Verkada products in the customer’s environmentMagnify the value of Verkada products for customers through configuring and fine-tuning product features, use cases, and analytics; provide vendor-led training to customersEffectively serve as the technical voice to all levels of customer, from C-level executives to loss prevention managers and directors of ITWork directly with your Global Services Manager and Sales Account Executives to develop services strategies and workflows for the customer, as well as participate in cross-selling and up-selling opportunitiesBe a Product Technical Evangelist in training/educating partners, customers, and internal employees on the latest Verkada product offeringsWork closely with the Verkada sales community by running regular enablement sessions (team meetings, lunch-and-learns, new hire onboarding) to spread the VGS value propositionRun the full outbound “triple sales” motion: rep, partner, and end customer. Attend necessary calls, meetings to move deals forwardWhat You Bring7+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or Professional Services Consultant with a proven track record of working with Fortune 500 companiesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information and Computer Technology, Networking, IT Security, or similar field Strong background in Computer Networking: HTTPS/SSL, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, DHCP servers, firewalls, and software systemsOutstanding written & verbal communication skills to efficiently articulate technical matters with customers and partnersEntrepreneurial and positive attitude with a strong desire to learnAbility to adapt to an ever evolving workplace and companyGenuine excitement for software/hardware products, Cloud Security, and IoT devicesTravel up to 25%Preferred QualificationsExperience as a Sales Engineering Manager or Professional Services ManagerPeople management experienceIndustry certifications such as AWS, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Security+, A+, Network+Experience working with Linux systems Previous startup experienceUK Employee BenefitsVerkada is committed to fostering a workplace environment that prioritizes the holistic health and wellbeing of our employees and their families by offering comprehensive wellness perks, benefits, and resources.
