We work as one to achieve our vision of being the world’s most trusted, innovative, liquidity and data solutions specialist.Role OverviewReporting to the Head of IT Risk Management & Controls, EMEA, this job role provides management oversight and governance of Technology Risks and Controls globally as required by the firms Enterprise Risk Management Framework.Role ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation of the IT risk management framework and process through supporting the implementation of the firm’s Enhanced Risk Management Framework (ERMF) globallySupport risk reporting for core IT processes and provide regular group risk reports covering these KPIs/KRIs globallyMaintain and ensure Technology policies comply with Group standards and ensure policy amendments/changes are carried out in accordance the relevant governance bodiesPrepare and support the Technology Risk Forum as part of risk governance structure and provide support to the regional Risk Committees for Technology owned dataMaintain the risk register (Riskonnect) with control requirements, control attestations, control assurance, issue-action and event management for the function and to appropriate stakeholders and risk ownersSupport the management of controls development, attestation, remediation plans and assurance program to demonstrate oversight and management of key controlsSupport and partner to develop new & enhance existing tools to demonstrate controls oversight within the 1st Line of DefenceSupport internal & external Technology audits with preparation, remediation, validation and management responseExperience / CompetencesEssentialAdequate IT Risk & Control experience/exposure in Operational Risk environmentProven and demonstratable capabilities, result driven and team orientated qualitiesGood understanding of Technology function and operationTakes ownership / accountability of tasks and drives them to completionMeticulous, strong attention to quality and accuracyGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a dynamic, competitive fast paced or pressured environmentGood verbal and non-verbal skills, including ability to draft correspondence on behalf of senior leaders, and knowledge of etiquette for formal correspondenceAbility to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to demonstrate honesty, integrity and professionalism (aligned to company values and principles).Effective strong analytical ability and problem-solving skillsDesiredProven track record working in Risk Management / LOD / IT functionsProven track record working with regulators / auditorsThorough understanding and implementation experience of IT Risk and Control frameworksKnowledge and working experience of control testing / assurance / managing auditsAbility to develop and present management summary concisely and succinctlyClient focused, personable with the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levelsInnovative, solution orientated - not just present the problem, offers and adapts solutions for Technology (right size)Constructively challenges where appropriateSeeks opportunities for continuous improvement to achieve ‘best in classJob Band & LevelProfessional / 5#LI-Hybrid #LI-ASONot The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
