Civil Fraud & Commercial Litigation Paralegal

A leading specialist disputes law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Civil Fraud and Commercial Litigation team on an initial 12-month contract.

The successful Paralegal will provide dedicated legal and administrative support on complex litigation matters, gaining exposure to high-profile disputes and working closely with solicitors, clients and Counsel.

The Paralegal's Role

• Supporting hearings and trials, including preparing bundles and agreeing indices
\n
• Filing, organising and retrieving documents
\n
• Arranging transcribers and supporting hearing logistics
\n
• Drafting legal research memos
\n
• Taking detailed notes during client, Counsel and third-party meetings
\n
• Liaising with clients and external parties by email and telephone
\n
• Providing general case and administrative support
\n

The Paralegal

\n
• Minimum 1 year's previous paralegal experience within litigation
\n
• Experience supporting large or complex litigation matters
\n
• Law degree or GDL, with LPC or BPTC preferred
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
\n
• Proactive and able to manage challenging deadlines
\n
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
\n
