\nWe’re looking for a commercially minded Supply Chain Finance Business Partner who can get close to the numbers, challenge the status quo and turn financial data into meaningful commercial insight.
\nThis is a high profile, hands on role partnering closely with senior supply chain and operational stakeholders. You’ll play a key part in helping the business understand its cost base, improve performance and make better, faster commercial decisions.
\nInitially offered as a 6 month fixed term contract, there is genuine potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.
The Role:\nYou’ll be at the heart of the supply chain operation, providing financial insight, challenge and support across areas including:

Budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
\n - \n
Analysis of supply chain costs, inventory and operational performance
\n - \n
Identifying trends, opportunities and areas for cost improvement
\n - \n
Developing meaningful KPIs to drive efficiency and performance
\n - \n
Understanding and explaining month-on-month spend variations
\n - \n
Linking costs to volumes, delivery profiles, stock, inventory and capacity
\n - \n
Reviewing cost-to-serve, margin, inflation and recovery
\n - \n
Supporting and challenging capital and commercial proposals
\n - \n
Improving existing reporting, controls and finance processes
\n - \n
Acting as a trusted finance partner to senior operational stakeholders
\n
This isn’t a role for someone who simply reports the numbers. You’ll be expected to interrogate them, explain what’s driving them and influence what happens next.
What We’re Looking For:\nYou’ll be a professionally qualified accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA with strong commercial and analytical skills and the confidence to work closely with senior operational teams.
