An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor at Associate or Senior Associate level to join a Legal 500 Tier 1-ranked Employment team in Birmingham.

The Role

\n

You will undertake a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work, gaining exposure to a varied and high-quality caseload.

Your responsibilities will include:

    \n
  • Advising clients on a broad range of employment law matters
  • \n
  • Handling Employment Tribunal litigation and contentious employment matters
  • \n
  • Providing strategic and commercially focused employment advice
  • \n
  • Supporting corporate and education-sector clients on complex employment issues
  • \n
  • Developing specialist sector expertise through exposure to sophisticated client work
  • \n
  • Assisting with complex and technically challenging employment matters
  • \n
  • Delivering client training, seminars, and legal updates
  • \n
  • Supporting business development initiatives and helping to develop existing and new client relationships
  • \n
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm's national Employment practice
  • \n
  • Contributing to the continued growth and profile of the team
  • \n

About You

  • Strong technical employment law experience
  • \n
  • Experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
  • \n
  • Excellent written and drafting skills
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • \n
  • The ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • \n
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • \n
  • An interest in business development and developing your professional profile
  • \n
