This includes overseeing patient safety, maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations, developing and reviewing procedures, supporting and training staff, managing risks, ensuring medicines are handled appropriately, and promoting the delivery of effective, high-quality patient care.The role also involves providing professional leadership and ensuring the pharmacy continually improves its services and standards.About usThe company was incorporated in 1992, having previously operated as a dispensary within a GP surgery. The pharmacy dispenses approximately 16,000 prescription items each month and is supported by a dedicated team of experienced staff, many of whom have been with the organisation for a number of years.The current Superintendent Pharmacist took over the role last year from the previous postholder, who had been with the organisation since before incorporation in 1992.
