Solid financial reporting experience, Banking experience, preferably with relevant operating expense journal posting experience.Your New Salary: HighlyCompetitive + Bonus + BenefitsDepending on experienceLocation: Central LondonHybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day at homeStart ASAPReport to: Deputy Head of Finance and AccountingWho You'll Be Working for: An international bankWhat You'll be Doing Each Day:Prepare the annual operating expense budget for the Bank and departmental operating expense budgetsPrepare monthly operating expense analysis report and departmental cost allocation reportReview expenses and receipts to ensure they are accurately recorded, properly allocated at departmental level and supported by adequate documentsPrepare journal entries, set up amortisation schedulesPrepare the minutes of Finance Committee meetings.Maintain the fixed asset/software register and prepaid expense register, and reconcile them with GL on a monthly basisIdentify and escalate invoices and payments discrepancies to Head and/or Deputy Head in order to ensure timely resolutionPrepare operating expense and fixed assets reports as requested by the Parent BankPrepare reports for Subsidiary/Branch required by parent bank and home country regulatorsPrepare quarterly VAT returns in compliance with HMRC requirementsParticipate in operating expense system enhancementPrepare information and reports in relates to audit requests from external and internal auditorsManage the company cards matters and bills and settlement.The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:Proficiency English language (writing and speaking), Mandarin preferred.A degree or equivalent qualification in Finance or AccountingBanking experience, preferably with operating expense journal posting roles over 2 yearsAbility to analyse and compile data to support the budgeting process and monitor the performance (Excel skills required)Manages operational risk by building strong processes and quality control routines Please follow us on Linkedin: We would be grateful if you could send your CV as a Word document.
