Plenty of seniors run projects. Directors set direction. Step up.

Responsum Global
London, ENG, GB Full Time

Job Description

Plenty of electrical engineers can run a healthcare project. Far fewer get to decide how a whole discipline runs them. That is the difference between this role and the one you have now. This is an associate director or technical director seat in the property and buildings arm of a global engineering consultancy, focused on healthcare. The healthcare pipeline is long, complex and committed, and the MEP group is led jointly, so you share leadership with mechanical and public health counterparts rather than reporting up through them. You provide design and technical leadership across a wide range of healthcare schemes, act as the electrical authority clients ask for by name, and shape the standards, tools and people that the next decade of projects will be built on. The platform brings scale, international reach and a project list that smaller practices cannot match.Healthcare adds a dimension most sectors lack: the buildings keep people alive, the stakeholders know exactly what they need, and the engineering decisions echo for decades. Leading electrical design in that environment is as close as this profession gets to consequence, and it deserves a leader who treats it that way.If you have proven healthcare delivery behind you and a firm in front of you that keeps mistaking management for leadership, this is the seat that treats technical direction as the destination. Salary is between £100,000 and £140,000.At this level a quiet conversation beats an application.
