Park Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an organised, professional and approachable Park Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a residential park home community comprising 89 homes and approximately 120-130 residents on a part-time basis.
\nThis is a unique and varied role, offering significant autonomy whilst working closely with a resident-led Board of Directors. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, compliance, financial management and general operation of the park, ensuring high standards are maintained for residents and the wider community.
\nLocation: Chesham, BuckinghamshireHours: Part-Time, 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)Holiday: 17 days per annumReporting To: Board of DirectorsDBS Check Required: Yes
\nApplicants should ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance of Chesham, Amersham, Bovingdon or surrounding areas.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operation of the residential park. \n
- Act as the main point of contact for residents, contractors and external agencies. \n
- Ensure the park and communal areas are maintained to a high standard. \n
- Coordinate maintenance works and manages contractors. \n
- Administer Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll. \n
- Maintain accurate financial, resident and compliance records. \n
- Ensure compliance with the Mobile Homes Act and Site Licence requirements. \n
- Support the Board of Directors with reports, administration and governance matters. \n
- Attend monthly Board meetings and the Annual General Meeting. \n
- Handle resident enquiries with professionalism, empathy and discretion. \n
Person Specification
\nEssential:
\n- \n
- Experience using Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll. \n
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills. \n
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload. \n
- Professional, trustworthy and highly organised. \n
- Empathetic and patient, with strong people skills. \n
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check. \n
Desirable:
\n- \n
- Knowledge of the Mobile Homes Act and residential park legislation. \n
- Understanding of Site Licence compliance requirements. \n
- Legal, property management or governance experience. \n
- Experience working with a Board, Committee or Resident Association. \n
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and contractor management. \n
