About the Area:
The city of Downey is rich in culture, history, and community spirit. Positioned as a gateway between Los Angeles and Orange Counties and conveniently located near major freeways, residents appreciate Downey's tranquil, family-oriented atmosphere while enjoying easy access to various attractions and social activities in both counties.

Working Here:
At our Downey location, we foster a collaborative and team-oriented environment, prioritizing safety for both patients and caregivers. Our leadership promotes accessibility and maintains a flat organizational structure, which helps build trust among physicians and support staff. Innovation is a key focus; for instance, Downey was the first medical center in the region to perform same-day total joint surgeries. We also strive for efficiency by enhancing workflows throughout the medical center and ancillary offices. Additionally, we emphasize wellness—both physical and mental—by providing regular opportunities for socializing, dining, and exercising together. With a high level of tertiary care, one of the largest NICUs in the region, and a fully staffed OB and anesthesia team, Downey excels in serving a diverse and high-risk patient population.

Equal Employment Opportunity:
All external hires are required to undergo a background check and drug screening. We consider qualified applicants with arrest and/or conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, including the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. All qualified candidates will be evaluated for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, or disability.
