Shift: Monday-Friday | 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 1:00 AM)
Pay Rate: Starting at $30.19 per hour
About the Role
As a Electrical Assembler, you'll play a crucial role in transforming engineering designs into flight-ready spacecraft hardware. Working in a high-reliability aerospace environment, you'll fabricate and terminate wiring harnesses that support spacecraft systems and ground equipment.
Your precision, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will directly contribute to mission success, ensuring every connection meets the rigorous standards required for space applications.
What You'll Do
In this hands-on role, you will:
Fabricate wiring harnesses for spacecraft and ground support systems
Build and terminate harnesses for racks, boxes, and spacecraft installations
Perform complex production assembly operations on aerospace systems and components

Read and interpret:
Electrical schematics
Harness wiring diagrams
Mechanical drawings
Circuit layouts
Parts lists
Use hand tools and specialized harness assembly equipment to complete precise assemblies
Troubleshoot and repair electronic components as needed
Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality, and documentation
Explain assembly procedures and techniques to team members
Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet production schedules
Identify and communicate potential production issues
Support cross-training and mentoring of new team members
Follow clean room, PPE, safety, FOD prevention, and tool control procedures
Complete work documentation using computer-based systems
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a technician in aerospace or another high-reliability industry

Current certification to:
J-STD-001 Space
NASA-STD-8739.4
Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality
Experience using hand tools for assembly, repair, and troubleshooting

Ability to read and interpret:
Schematics
Harness wiring diagrams
Layout drawings
Mechanical drawings
Circuit layouts
Parts lists
Experience working in a clean room environment
Familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
Proficiency with computer applications used for production documentation

Understanding of:
Good housekeeping practices
Tool control
FOD awareness and prevention
Workplace safety procedures
Ability to pass soldering and crimping assessments
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or experience highly desired

4+ years of experience using wire harness tools, including:
Manual crimpers
Pneumatic crimpers
Experience performing in-process verification (2PV)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Experience mentoring or training fellow technicians

Pay Details: $30.19 per hour
