Inside Sales Representative

This is a full-time, onsite sales position in Downers Grove, IL. You will speak with business owners across the country, understand their current payment processing setup, identify opportunities, present solutions, handle objections, and close new accounts.

This is a phone-focused sales role, so you should be comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and asking for the sale.

• Make outbound calls to small and mid-sized businesses.

• Speak with business owners and key decision-makers.

• Understand customer needs and their current payment processing setup.

• Identify opportunities to save customers money or improve their payment solutions.

• Present payment processing and Zero Fee Processing options.

• Sell POS systems, including Clover solutions.

• Follow up with interested prospects and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

• Help customers complete the application and account setup process.

• Meet daily call/activity expectations and monthly sales goals.

• Work with managers and trainers to improve sales skills and performance.

• Previous sales experience preferred.

• Experience in inside sales, telesales, merchant services, POS, telecom, insurance, or similar industries is a plus.

• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.

• Confident communicating with business owners and decision-makers.

• Strong communication and objection-handling skills.

• Competitive, motivated, and goal-oriented.

• Coachable and willing to learn.

• Reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.

• Strong desire to close deals and generate sales, not just make calls.
