Your primary focus will be providing expert speech and language support for approximately 38-40 students, ranging from elementary through high school. Key Qualifications:
- Valid CCC-SLP credentials and eligibility for Wisconsin state licensure
- Demonstrated experience in school-based speech-language pathology settings
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, service planning, and direct intervention
- Ability to effectively engage with students across multiple age groups
- Competence in maintaining timely documentation and adhering to school policies
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions onsite, adapting to student needs across elementary, middle, and high schools
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, providing input on classroom strategies and student progress
- Maintain accurate service documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate regularly with families to support and extend therapy progress
