Electrical Journeyman

As an Electrical Journeyman, you'll install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems.
\n
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
\n
• Install conduit, cable tray, wireway, and power distribution systems.
\n
• Pull wire, terminate conductors, bend conduit, and perform electrical layouts.
\n
• Install and commission Motor Control Centers (MCCs) and related equipment.
\n
• Troubleshoot motors, control systems, PLC-related components, and electrical equipment.
\n
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards.
\n
• Lead and mentor apprentices and helpers while maintaining a safe, productive job site.
\n
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and daily work activities with project management.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and completed work.
\n
• Participate in daily job site cleanup and maintain company tools and equipment.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Minimum 4 years of industrial or commercial electrical construction experience.
\n
• Journeyman-level electrical skills with experience in industrial environments.
\n
• Strong conduit bending, installation, and wire pulling experience.
\n
• Ability to read electrical drawings, prints, and specifications.
\n
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment.
\n
• Knowledge of NEC and OSHA regulations.
\n
• Experience operating forklifts, boom lifts, and aerial lifts is preferred.
\n
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
\n
• Must have your own basic electrical tools.
\n
• Ability to work overtime and travel when required.
\n
