Registered Dental Hygienist

Our multi-specialty dental practice, with a focus on periodontal care, is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM. We are also open to candidates interested in a part-time schedule of two days per week.

Position Overview:

Dental Hygienists play a vital role in enhancing patients' oral health through the provision of periodontal treatments and hygiene services. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about dentistry and dedicated to delivering exceptional care consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess overall oral health by examining the oral cavity for indications of periodontal disease or potential cancers, including sores, bleeding gums, and oral lesions.
• Record dental history and primary concerns; document relevant observations and patient responses for the dental team; track lab procedures and ensure follow-up on results.
• Execute oral hygiene procedures as outlined in treatment plans from the attending Dentist. This may include prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planing, debridement, Arestin application, fluoride treatments, and protective sealant application.
• Provide assistance or initiate emergency protocols for unexpected complications during patient treatment.
