Our Community Health Clinic is searching for a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our holistic healthcare ministry of more than 300 employees, including providers and support staff. \nSchedule
\n Normal schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Schedule may vary. On call is required on a rotating basis.

- Our physicians provide clinical leadership and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers and medical support staff. \n

Duties & Responsibilities:
\n- \n

- Compassion for patients, family members, and others; along with a nurturing spirit to provide care during stressful situations. \n
- Provide medical evaluation, treatment, and consultation services to patients of the clinic. \n
- Available to respond to emergencies and answer medical questions. \n
- Provides medical orders for prescription refills, administration of medications, ancillary testing, and/or referrals. \n
- Reviews ancillary test results and coordinates notification to the patient. \n
- Provides patient education as needed. \n
- Supervises patient care by non-clinic agencies such as home health care, nursing home, or hospice. \n
- Available to patients personally or through clinical staff to answer questions and relay information regarding their care. \n
- Participates in on-call rotation schedule. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- MD or DO degree \n
- State of Kansas MD or DO licensure \n
- Board certification in specialty preferred \n
- Current DEA certificate. \n
- Maintains appropriate licensure and certification including meeting and/or exceeding CME requirements. \n
Experience
\n- \n
- Public Health experience preferred \n
- Medical Office, specifically nonprofit or FQHC setting experience preferred \n
- FQHC or public healthcare setting experience preferred. \n
- ?Recent graduates are welcome to apply but must be board certified before working \n
