Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily jobsite operations and lead electrical crews on industrial construction projects.
  • \n
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule.
  • \n
  • Plan daily and weekly work activities while assigning tasks to electricians, apprentices, and helpers.
  • \n
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineered drawings.
  • \n
  • Oversee conduit installation, wire pulls, equipment installation, and electrical system layouts.
  • \n
  • Ensure all work is completed according to NEC, project specifications, and company quality standards.
  • \n
  • Monitor labor hours, material usage, and project productivity.
  • \n
  • Maintain open communication with the Project Superintendent regarding project progress and field issues.
  • \n
  • Train and mentor crew members while enforcing company safety policies and OSHA standards.
  • \n
  • Coordinate jobsite logistics, deliveries, and material inventory.
  • \n
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • \n
  • Assist with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and resolving field challenges to keep projects moving efficiently
  • \n
  • Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management roles with a focus on electrical systems.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Primavera.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
  • \n
  • Extensive experience supervising electrical crews on large-scale projects.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with contracts management and budgeting processes within the construction industry.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards, federal safety regulations, and construction safety management practices.
  • \n
  • Skilled in managing project scheduling, quality control, and safety protocols concurrently.
  • \n
  • Excellent managerial communication skills for effective team leadership and client interactions.
  • \n
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings confidently.
  • \n
  • Valid certifications in OSHA safety standards; relevant electrical licenses preferred.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of industrial or commercial electrical construction experience.
  • \n
  • 3–5 years of experience leading crews in a Foreman, Lead Electrician, or Supervisor role.
  • \n
  • Experience supervising 5 or more electricians, apprentices, or helpers.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, conduit installation, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • \n
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
  • \n
  • Experience operating forklifts, boom lifts, and aerial lifts.
  • \n
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • \n
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • \n
  • Must have personal electrical tools required to perform the job.
