Indiana University Health, Indiana's most comprehensive and top-ranked healthcare system, is actively recruiting Hospitalists to join our growing team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We are in the early stages of developing a new healthcare facility anticipated to be completed and open by May 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering team as we develop a state-of-the-art facility that will provide high-quality care to our community. We are looking for dedicated Hospitalists and Nocturnists to help shape the future of healthcare in Fort Wayne.

Job Overview/Nocturnist

  • 100% inpatient: 104 beds, 28 ICU, 8 CDU
  • \n
  • 7 on/14 off schedule; nocturnist is solo with subspecialty and intensivist in-person and on-call support
  • \n
  • Open ICU: Critical Care team covers true high-acuity patients (intubated, vasopressor)
  • \n
\n

Qualifications

  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ABMS residency training
  • \n
  • Nocturnist role requests minimum one year experience; New residents are welcome to apply for day hospitalist positions
  • \n
  • Ability to obtain an Indiana medical license
  • \n
