- The Registered Nurse operates under the guidance of the Nurse Director/Manager, ensuring the safe delivery of patient care for a variety of patient populations.
- The RN evaluates the needs of patients and their families, formulates and prioritizes care goals, assesses care delivery, and continuously updates the care plan to address the biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs of patients and families.
- The RN delegates care responsibilities appropriately to enhance patient outcomes.
- The RN complies with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in nursing.
- Active Kansas RN Licensure.
- BLS certification must be acquired within 14 days of hire or transfer into the position and before providing direct patient care.
- ACLS certification is required for Tele, ICU, and PCU roles.
- Oncology certification is necessary for post-surgery roles.
- All mandatory certifications must be completed within the first year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of recent experience in a comparable healthcare environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
