We are comprised of a 49-bed hospital, various medical offices, home health, a birthing center and a vast scope of services located throughout The Dalles and the surrounding areas. There is something for everyone in this scenic community.br brJob Summary:br brOperates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. This position is represented by OFNHP.br brJob Requirements:brbrEducation and Work Experience:br ul liAssociate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred/li /ulbrLicenses/Certifications:br ul liRegistered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required/li liAdvanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA/li liBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required/li liFluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR/li liVenipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR/li /ulbrFacility Specific License/Certifications:br ul liARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required/li liBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required/li /ulbrEssential Functions:br ul liAssesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric./li liProduces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation./li liUses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location./li liMaintains accurate records, files and billing information.
