MRI Technologist

This role involves conducting standard MRI procedures both on a scheduled and urgent basis, ensuring a secure environment for patients while adhering to departmental quality control and exam data integrity protocols.

• Carry out routine MRI examinations as needed, whether scheduled or in emergency situations.
• Choose appropriate equipment and configure technical settings to accurately visualize anatomical structures.
• Evaluate the physical and emotional well-being of patients, formulate a care plan tailored to their specific needs, and clearly explain the procedure to patients and their guardians.
• Create a nurturing atmosphere that acknowledges the unique needs of both patients and their families.
• Review examination requests, extract patient information, and assess the suitability of procedures based on the diagnosis.

• Education: An Associate’s Degree in Allied Health is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Preferred: A current MA Radiologic Technologist license for MRI.
• Must successfully achieve and maintain ARRT certification.
• BLS certification is required.
• Eligibility for MRI registry with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), to be completed within 18 months of hire.

The salary range provided reflects our organization’s reasonable expectations at the time of posting. Actual base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, education, certifications, and other job-related factors.
