Furnace Helpers Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $16.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Various shifts available (Monday through Sunday from 07:00am to 07:00pm)

• Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Responsibilities:
• Assist skilled operators in the loading, unloading, and safe operation of industrial furnaces, specifically supporting hot forging processes.
• Prepare and move raw materials, components, and finished products within the production area, using appropriate tools and material handling equipment.
• Monitor furnace operations, temperatures, and material flow as instructed, reporting any anomalies or issues to the operator.
• Perform general labor tasks, including maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, sweeping, and organizing tools and materials.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, operational procedures, and quality standards.
• Support team members in achieving production goals and maintaining efficient workflow.
• WORK ENVIRONMENT: Industrial manufacturing setting with primary focus on hot forging operations.* Exposure to elevated temperatures, significant noise levels, dust, and potential fumes.
• Fast-paced, physically demanding, and safety-critical environment.

Furnace Helpers Qualifications:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repetitively throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and reaching for extended periods.
• Good manual dexterity and coordination for handling tools and materials.
• Comfortable and able to work effectively in hot and noisy conditions while wearing required PPE.
• Must be able to maintain focus and attention to detail for the duration of the shift.
• SCHEDULES / TRAINING:
• This position with a consistent schedule of five 12-hour shifts per week (Monday to Friday).
• Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to ensure full understanding of tasks, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Mandatory safety training will be conducted prior to commencing work.

• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
