Job Summary

A well-established Orlando law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy Legal Assistant to support its Bankruptcy Department in a direct hire, 100% onsite role. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented legal support professional who enjoys organizing complex information, managing deadlines, preparing legal documents, and working closely with attorneys in a fast-paced practice environment.

The firm offers a stable, professional setting with supportive leadership, collaborative attorneys, and an opportunity to expand your legal skill set. While bankruptcy experience is preferred, the team is open to candidates from other legal practice areas who bring strong critical thinking, follow-through, and the ability to learn quickly.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys within the Bankruptcy Department.
- Prepare, revise, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and case-related materials.
- Maintain case files, organize client documentation, and assist with gathering information for bankruptcy matters.
- Coordinate calendars, court-related scheduling, deadlines, and attorney priorities.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, attorneys, and other involved parties.
- Track assigned tasks and deadlines to help ensure timely completion of case work.

Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation: Approximately $60,000 annually, flexible based on experience.
- Employment Type: Direct Hire.
- Work Arrangement: 100% onsite in Orlando, FL.
