We are currently looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatrician (32 hours per week) to join our dedicated team in San Rafael, CA.

San Rafael Park Clinic is situated in the picturesque Marin County and is part of the San Rafael Medical Center. Our team consists of 13 pediatricians, and you will be integrated into the broader San Rafael Pediatrics department, which also includes 7 pediatricians based in Petaluma. The San Rafael Park clinic is conveniently located just off Highway 101, approximately 2 miles from the San Rafael Medical Center, which features a hospital and an Emergency Room. Our clinic is well-supported by staff, including 1:1 medical assistants, 3-4 LVNs, and 1-2 RNs daily. We take pride in fostering a collaborative work atmosphere and value each team member. Additionally, the San Rafael Park clinic is equipped with an on-site lab, pharmacy, and radiology suite.

The role involves working as an 0.8 FTE outpatient pediatrician in our general pediatrics clinic. This position typically requires 4 days a week, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, although half-day shifts can also be arranged. There is an expectation to participate in our Pediatric Urgent Care clinic, located at the San Rafael Park clinic, during weekends and holidays, with around 7 scheduled days each year (9 AM to 5 PM). Please note that there is no inpatient work or newborn nursery responsibilities involved.

We have immediate access to pediatric subspecialists via phone and videoconferencing. Our clinic is well-resourced, featuring certified lactation specialists, a Pediatric Health Educator, a Pediatric Behavioral Medicine Specialist, and a Pediatric Social Worker, all available for patient care. We also offer a robust Continuing Medical Education (CME) program to support ongoing learning.

As an outpatient pediatrician, you will manage a full range of responsibilities, including well care, urgent care, and handling secure messages in our in-basket system. Patient visits can occur in person, via phone, or through video consultations. We are a close-knit team that prides itself on a friendly and collaborative work environment while delivering exceptional care to our patients. Qualifications:

• Board Certification or Eligibility
• Must be eligible for a California medical license or currently licensed to practice in California
