One of TEKsystems clients is looking for multiple qualified candidates to support their IT department's Project Coordinator team.

Previous Project Coordinator, Project Assistant, or Junior Project Manager experience is preferred. IT certifications are desirable for this role. This will be a first shift opportunity on a Contract to Hire basis.

Position Summary

The Project Coordinator supports the Project Management team by owning the routine, detail-intensive work that keeps client deployments on schedule — project documentation, customer-system and tracker updates, scheduling, and status reporting. The role coordinates day-to-day activity across project managers, field technicians, and customer stakeholders on concurrent healthcare and IT infrastructure projects. This is a strong entry point for someone building toward a Project Manager career track, with exposure to enterprise deployment work and direct mentorship from senior project managers.

Key Responsibilities

Project Administration

• Maintain project documentation, records, and version control.

• Update project schedules and status reports on a defined cadence.

• Track milestones, deliverables, and open action items to closure.

• Coordinate project meetings, capture notes, and drive follow-up items.

Customer & System Updates

• Perform accurate, timely data entry in ServiceNow and customer-facing systems.

• Maintain deployment trackers, project dashboards, and inventory records.

• Audit project data for completeness and correct discrepancies.

Communication & Coordination

• Serve as a coordination point between project managers, technicians, and customer contacts.

• Follow up on outstanding tasks and customer requests through resolution.

• Escalate risks, issues, and schedule concerns to the assigned project manager.

• Assemble project status reporting and support customer communications.

Deployment & Resource Support

• Assist with deployment planning, scheduling, and technician logistics.

• Support multiple concurrent healthcare and IT infrastructure engagements.

• Handle recurring operational tasks that keep active projects moving.

Required

Qualifications

• (2)+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Assistant, or junior Project Manager.

• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail across many concurrent items.

• Clear written and verbal communication with both technical staff and customer stakeholders.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and project-tracking tools.

• Ability to manage shifting priorities in afast-paced service environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or a comparable ITSM / ticketing platform.

• Exposure to healthcare IT or enterprise infrastructure deployment projects.

• Familiarity with IT asset and inventory tracking practices.

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
