School Speech Language Pathologist - Crown Point, Indiana

We are seeking three Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), preferably holding ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), for rewarding contract roles in elementary and intermediate school environments. SLPAs are not being considered at this time; experienced SLPs with flexibility and passion for school-based practice are encouraged to apply.

Opportunities include serving students at a range of school sites, with flexible scheduling and collaborative, supportive staff. Expect dynamic caseloads ranging from approximately 70 to 100 students, with ages spanning from preschool through middle school. Supervision and SLP-A support may be available, pending licensure guidelines and school needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure and ASHA CCC required or pending completion
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
• Knowledge of IEPs, progress monitoring, and caseload management
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct and consultative therapy for identified students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams
• Maintain detailed documentation, including progress reports and compliance tracking
• Deliver therapy services across assigned grade and school locations
• Participate in IEP meetings, trainings, and professional development

These positions feature a flexible 7-hour day with an unpaid lunch and the opportunity to tailor your schedule in collaboration with the schools. This contract role offers hourly rates in the $115–$120 range for qualified traveling SLPs.
