Position DetailsJob Title: Structures Installation Mechanic
Location: Tulsa, OK
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (4-Month Assignment)
Pay Rate: $55.00 - $59.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Important Schedule Information:
- Training will be conducted on 1st Shift
- After certification, candidates must be available to work any shift, with many employees transitioning to 2nd Shift
- Overtime is expected and available

As a Structures Installation Mechanic, you will support the assembly and installation of structural components on commercial and defense aircraft platforms, including the 787, 737, 777, and defense programs. What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and complete structural and system components
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, process specifications, work instructions, and technical documents
- Perform precision assembly and installation activities to exact specifications
- Conduct functional testing and verify fit, form, and function of assemblies and components
- Utilize precision measuring tools and testing equipment
- Operate assembly tooling and fastening equipment to build subassemblies and end items
- Verify work meets engineering, quality, and manufacturing requirements
- Identify and report discrepancies according to established procedures
- Ensure equipment and tools maintain required certifications
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
- Move products and materials within manufacturing areas using approved equipment
- Maintain production schedules and support continuous workflow
- Cross-train in inspection processes and work toward SIA qualification
- Assist in training and mentoring fellow team members on assembly, installation, and inspection techniques
- Aircraft structures assembly and installation
- Door installation
- Subassembly fabrication
- Sealer application
- Integral fuel cell sealing
- Precision bench assembly
- Pressure and vacuum testing
- Operation of conventional and CNC fastening equipment
Required Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who possess:
- Experience in aircraft structures assembly, installation, or related aerospace manufacturing work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
- Experience working with precision measuring devices and hand tools
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to perform work independently and within established schedules
- Willingness to work overtime as required
- Flexibility to work any shift following completion of training
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience working on commercial aircraft programs such as the 737, 777, or 787
- Aircraft structures installation and sealing experience
- Fuel cell sealing experience
- Pressure and vacuum testing experience
- Experience operating CNC or automated fastening equipment
- Inspection and SIA qualification experience
- Previous aerospace manufacturing or MRO experience
- Experience training or mentoring other technicians

Pay Details: $55.00 to $59.00 per hour
