Job Description
Specialty: Maternal Medicine Physician
Location: Wausau, WI
Work Environment: Clinic with on-call responsibilities
Reason for Coverage: Scheduling requirements
Start Date: July 20
Availability: Seeking full-time coverage, with a willingness to work two weeks per month. Clinic hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., totaling an 8-hour workday.
On-Call Duties: Yes, on-call during the night. The role involves receiving phone calls from the inpatient laborist team, with no requirement to return to the hospital for patient visits. Expect approximately one call per night at most.
Call Rotation: If assigned to the day shift in the clinic, that individual will also be responsible for on-call duties during the night.
Patient Load: 20-30 patients per shift
Licensure: Must possess a Wisconsin medical license; open to obtaining licensure if necessary.
Electronic Medical Records: Experience with Epic is preferred.
