This first-shift Assembly Team Leader role offers a chance to lead people, solve technical production problems, and directly influence safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency. &99;️ What you’ll be doing

    \n
  • Lead assembly personnel to produce quality work safely, on time, and within planned hours
  • \n
  • Plan jobs, review priority dispatch lists, and assign employees based on skill and workload
  • \n
  • Attend production-control, pre-release planning, and job-release meetings
  • \n
  • Troubleshoot shop-floor issues and provide hands-on technical support
  • \n
  • Determine overtime needs, obtain approval, and arrange schedules
  • \n
  • Evaluate employee skills and performance, provide feedback, and support accountability
  • \n
  • Help hire, train, and develop team members
  • \n
  • Investigate nonconformances, overruns, accidents, and incidents and implement corrective actions
  • \n
  • Review team labor charges and maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards
  • \n

  • Prior management or leadership experience with direct responsibility for a team
  • \n
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • \n
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
  • \n
  • Ability to plan work, assign personnel, troubleshoot production issues, and hold employees accountable
  • \n
  • High school diploma or GED
  • \n
  • Ability to read technical information and work safely in a manufacturing environment
  • \n

Preferred:

  • Trade-school, vocational-school, or relevant college education
  • \n
  • CNC machining experience
  • \n
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and 6S practices
  • \n
